A 5 day residential Retreat (shared accommodation)
19th– 23rd December 2012 – £585
From 10am (19th) to 3pm (23rd)
A unique retreat for a unique moment in time.
With the return of Dr Bisong Guo to teaching in the UK, having been leading events around the globe for the past year, this workshop offers a rare opportunity to be guided through the Winter Solstice by a Daoist master.
The Winter Solstice represents the end of one yearly cycle, when Yin reaches it maximum and the beginning of the new cycle with the birth of Yang. When we cultivate ourselves and tune into the macrocosmos at this time, it can help us build a robust immune system, replenish the Qi in our internal organs and provide a strong springboard to flourish at Springtime.
With the coming of the 2012 solstice and the end of the 26,000 year cycle, this same process is occurring on a far greater scale. As one grand cycle ends and another begins, we have the unprecedented opportunity to tune into the galactic Baby Yang, thereby setting the foundation for our further spiritual development over the whole of this new cycle.
Given the great importance of this event, Ling has, for the first time, made this Winter Solstice retreat open to the public. Residential places are limited. We will be including non-residential participants, although the fee will remain the same as a reflection of the fact that Dr Guo will be holding the Qi of each participant throughout.
